Craig is the farmer who grows the fruit for Tieton Cider Works. New varieties are what excite Craig, and he is always looking for what else he can grow on his farm. With a background in design and a love of cooking, Sharon has a current life mission to impress upon everyone that cider is what pairs best with food. Marcus joined Tieton Cider Works in 2010 as our cider operations manager and cider maker, bringing ten years' experience in making cider, craft beers, wine and as a fourth generation Yakima Valley farmer, Marcus brings a diverse background in growing apples and pears, as well as a valuable skill in his natural and innate ability to blend and taste. Rob spends his days in the cidery as our Production Manager. With a Bachelor degree in Biology and Master of Science in Brewing and Distilling, from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, he is perfect for the job. While living in the UK, Rob became aware of the vast world of cider and was curious about TCW when he returned. In 2011 Korel made the decision to move from Seattle to Tieton to join the TCW team. She was intrigued to join a growing company and recognized an opportunity to gain knowledge in an area of business that she had never experienced. With a diverse background that includes sales, data entry, customer service and personal home management, Korel is the administrative assistant to all of us – the woman with the answers! Jennie is our woman on the ground; opening new markets and handling our participation at festivals and events. Her knowledge of cider comes from years as a home brewer and living in Brighton, England working in pubs and clubs for four years. Her finely tuned palette comes from her time in England and ten years in the specialty coffee industry where she focused on taste and education. Lauren is our woman on the ground in Texas; covering festivals, events and tastings in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Southern CA. Lauren started her education into the world of alcohol behind the bar while she completed her degree in Nutrition and Foods. Tyler joined the Tieton team in 2013. Having come from the fine dining industry, Tyler has the palette and knowledge to make the jump into the cider world. Tyler went to the University of Washington and has a degree in Theatre, and recently finished shooting a new short film which comes out in 2014. Kelsey is Tieton Cider Works' social media guru. Having grown up in the Yakima Valley, Kelsey has always had an interest in the land and the products that come from it. She attended the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in Communication and Theatre. She lives in Seattle and enjoys spending the weekends visiting new hot spots around town.
